Disability Discrimination Lawsuit Filed Against Midwest Medical Supply
Kuhlmann LLC filed a disability discrimination lawsuit on February 10, 2012 against Midwest Medical Supply, The lawsuit, filed in conjunction with co-counsel Riggan Law Firm, LLC, asserts claims for failure to provide a reasonable accommodation, and for actual and/or perceived disability discrimination under the Missouri Human Rights Act.

Workers with disabilities are protected from disability and perceived disability discrimination under the Missouri Human Rights Act, Mo. Rev. Stat. § 213.010(4) and 8 C.S.R. 60-3.060(1)-(6). Our client alleges she requested a reasonable accommodation, but instead was fired two days later.
The lawsuit seeks lost wages and lost benefits, damages for embarrassment, humiliation, damage to reputation, emotional distress, punitive damages, pre-judgment interest, attorneys’ fees and costs.
